PICC line has been removed!

The PICC line has been removed.  Enzo is 100% on his own for providing his own nutrition!  This means we have a caloric intake goal and we are trying to get Enzo to reach it without any setbacks before he is discharged!

Without his PICC line, Enzo is no longer tethered to a rolling machine of lines providing food and hydration.  This means he can venture easily, outside and inside.
Enzo is even taking the stairs and enjoying every step of his newfound freedom!
Due to having been here for so long, Enzo does get a little tired, but those moments are short lived.  He is ready to go!
In the meantime, on the outside, Eli is enjoying all sorts of fun by going to the symphony with Nonna and her friends.  There were four singers celebrating the MUSIC OF KNIGHTS - Sir, Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.  We met two of the four in person has we headed outside the venue.
After the symphony, we bumped into America's Got Talent, Campbell Walker Fields.  WOW - just WOW!  22 years old and his voice had such depth and emotion.  And it was a great day as he was surprised by his co-host, with the revelation that his family flew in to surprise him and watch him perform.  Yes, we saw this very tall, handsome man cry and he made the other vocalists (and the audience) cry.  It was such an experience.
Here's the host, Scott Coulter, who got out of his tux and into a baseball cap.  I thanked him for his part in the show and he was just super grounded and so kind.  We took a selfie.  Then he asked me to tag him on Instagram, which we don't have, so he took another photo for his post.  HA HA!  I might have to get back on social media!
While we wait for Enzo to be discharged, Eli and Papa have fun running across the bridge connecting downtown JAX to Riverside.
When Eli is with Mama, he brings his scooter, that he won as a prize during Thursday Night Bingo.
Of course, Eli wants to visit Nonna as much as possible.  Or was it the alligators in the water that he wants to see?
Near the Ronald McDonald House is the Museum of Science and History.  You can see how goofy both Eli and Papa got while checking out the place.   It's fun to see these two have so much fun!

Next week is going to be a big week, bigger than BATMAN and all the other amazing volunteers that dress up to visit kiddos in the hospital.

Thank you all for your prayers.  You have no idea how exciting it is to see this day coming.  We know Enzo has been in your hearts and we can feel the love.

We will keep you posted.  If you don't hear from me on Monday you will know that it is confirmed that Enzo is out.  We'll be spending the day with him OUTSIDE!
